Forgiveness can be defined as a conscious, deliberate decision to release away feelings of anger,  resentment, or vengeance that you have for a person or group who has harmed you.

Forgiveness shows that you are ready to give the other person or yourself a new chance. you are keen to let go off the past and state afresh. forgiveness is a sing that you are filling yourself with a lot of purity and sensitivity, and the person whom you are forgiving with lots of love.

forgiveness takes courage because, beneath our personal story of pain and suffering, we need to make the choice to tap into our innate joy and compassion.

learning to forgive lessens the amount of hurt, anger, stress, and depression that people experience. 
people who forgive also become more optimistic, compassionate, and have enhanced conflict resolution skills.

 Forgiveness is a conscious decision and a state of mind that we can cultivate.  here are some easy to follow steps that you can take to start your forgiveness journey:

- Release the Past  
In order to move forward in life one of the key things, we must do is release the past and live in the present moment. if you or someone you know has made a mistake, there is no point in holding on it for an entire lifetime.

we often carry the burden of our past and if we are not aware of this, the past will weigh us down. without a regular practice of releasing, we develop a backlog of unprocessed emotions and mental clutter. 

forgiveness allows you to move on without harboring anger or the desire of seeking revenge.
 as Confucius said about revenge, "before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves." even if you do not actively seek revenge, holding onto your anger brings you down.

Every experience brings with it a new lesson. irrespective of whether what happened to us was right or wrong, these experiences are a part of our growth.
